Assurity was founded to help both homeowners and contractors eliminate the all too often friction that can happen during home improvement projects. Leadership Team
Bill Glynn
Formerly a software engineer, Bill Glynn has spent over eighteen years in Product Management working with a variety of remote and distributed teams to deliver Telecommunications, Security and Financial Services products. Bill also formed customer advisory boards (CABs) and other feedback programs to ensure the voice of the customer was always a foundational component in all product roadmaps. More recently, he has been involved in construction projects, helping homeowners navigate the complexities of their projects.
Bill is a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Product Manager, and has earned his Six Sigma Green Belt. In addition, Bill earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from UMASS Boston and his MBA from Boston College. Bill lives in Florida, with his wife and enjoys spending time with her and their two sons.
John McBreen
John has been in the software development and business field for over two decades. He holds a B.S. in Accounting and Minor in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University. He ran his own web application development company, DesignApps, and has managed software teams for Cisco Systems and AvidXchange.
John brings both technical and management experience along with expertise in process efficiency having more recently been a Lean/Agile digital transformation leader for large organizations such as Citizen Bank and National Grid. John lives outside of Boston, MA with his two sons and daughter – keeping busy when he’s not working with Hockey, Soccer and Baseball.
